Party weekend

It was Shalae's 3rd Birthday. She is such a doll and gives Ava big hugs. Happy Birthday Shalae!

Samantha turned 1! She is just adorable and getting ready to walk. Happy Birthday Samantha!

Thomas (Samantha's big brother) was such a sweetheart and shared his cars with Ava. They played very cute together.
We had a picnic at the park this morning. It started out a little rainy but warmed up by the time we left.

Family Day Anniversary

On March 6, Ava and I celebrated the first anniversary of our Family Day. What a wonderful year it has been! I am totally and completely in love with my little angel Ava. She is such a doll and so much fun to be around. I look foward to all the years to come. This anniversary was pretty low key but I hope to make Family Day into a day we spend doing something fun together.

Thanks for all the camera advice. I ended up buying a Canon Powershot SX100 IS. I love the pop up flash and the 10X optical zoom.

Chinese New Year

We went to the FCC's Chinese New Year celebration on Saturday. They did a great job putting it together and we all had fun. There were a ton of kid's crafts/games so they all stayed busy. I donated a cake for the cake walk and the last 14 of my Ava Totes for the basket raffle. Luckily, I took some photos of Ava before we left because my camera died (not the battery) by the time we got there. If anyone has a camera they love, let me know. I need to buy something this week- hate being without a camera.

Ava eating chocolate ice cream. She has to do everything by herself so needless to say there was chocolate everywhere by the time she finished- but she loved it!

Super Bowl Sunday

Playing at the Park

Ava's Mema has been taking her to the park this week. The weather has been beautiful and Ava really enjoys playing outside.

This is one of my favorite photos- the way she is just hanging there.

Balloons are atleast as much fun as balls and she loves playing with balls.

First Haircut

Ava's papa is a barber so he gave Ava her first haircut. She sat quietly the whole time. I love her shorter hair. It's evened out and much fuller looking. She also looks a little younger with it short.


Hopefully, I'll have a better photo of her new haircut in the next few days. She refused to look at me for a photo today.
