Starting Ava's Lifebook

I began working on Ava's lifebook/scrapbook this week. Since I don't have a referral yet and am not sure what province she will be from, I decided to start with what I have, a nursery. I know I definitely want to use the fabric from her bedding as a page background but that's about all I'm sure of at this point.

I have never been a scrapbooker so this is all new to me. I already have a book so I went over to Joann's and found a number of embellishments, many of which I probably won't end up using on this page. Although nothing cost more than $4, I still ended up spending $50, not a cheap hobby. I'll post a picture when I eventually get it done.

Some other pages that I thought to get started on include: Ava Totes- my adoption fundraising project, the baby shower and even this journal.

It looks like you're off to a really good start with all your supplies and I'm looking forward to seeing your nursery layout. I really like the idea of using the bedding fabric as the background.

Scrapbooking and rubberstamping are expensive hobbies! I don't even want to think about how much I have invested in my room full of supplies!
