We visited Martyr's Park today. It was really amazing. The lake where the boats are is man-made and the park goes all the way around it. We spent over an hour walking around and didn't see half of what was there. Our families were the only ones with strollers so we were quite the attraction.
We walked around some shops that were supposed to carry antiques.
We leave for Guanghou tomorrow so I won't have time to post until the following day. See you in two days.
I love that park - how beautiful! Ava looks like she enjoys the outdoors. Tell her to get ready for some heat - it was 85 degrees here yesterday! Can't wait till she comes over for a swim. ;) Safe travels!
What an awesome park! The lanterns in the trees are very festive. Looks like you are seeing many sights in China. Anxious for your update from Guangzhou!
Michele, Thanks for sharing your life with us. The photograhs are really great. Hope you're getting a bit more sleep at night. Or are you still waking up, looking over at Ava to be sure she's still there by your side? (And then smiling because she is?) She's yours now in your heart, and soon the paperwork will say so too!
Hi, I just found your blog the other day through the Kunstman family blog. Your new daughter is the cutest thing ever! We are in the "great paper chase" right now, and can't wait until we are where you are right now! Ava is just wonderful! Congratulations!

We are having a Looking at Michele Blog Party. We had so much fun admiring Ava. She is beauiful, we cannot wait to meet her in person. You look so happy. Love, Randy and Beth Gross and Debbie Mitchell

Now that you're on the way to Guangzhou, you're on the home stretch! Have a safe flight...I'm looking forward to the red couch photos!

Michele,
I am so glad you are able to see so much of China -- what a beautiful country and you have taken some beautiful photographs.

The park is beautiful but not quite as beautiful as Ava's wonderful smile. Have fun in GZ and enjoy the shopping.
