A busy day- and boy was it cold!

It snowed most of today. We started out at Tian An Men Square, then the Forbidden City & Imperial Garden. We then sat through mass at the International Church. We headed over to the Pearl Place for lunch and shopping. The Summer Palace was the last stop for the day. Since it is Dad's birthday today, we went out for a Peking Duck (Beijing Duck) dinner.

Fabulous photos!! It looks a little strange to see photos of the Summer Palace with snow! It does add a nice touch to the photos, although I'm sure you guys are freezing!

China time is 1am on Monday, so you'll be on a flight later today to Ava's province. How exciting!!

That weather looks miserable... but I'm sure that NOTHING can damper your spirits now when you're so close to Ava! Can't wait to watch your journey to her since your blog was one of the first I found when I started my own journey a year ago. So excited for you!

Happy Birthday to your Dad!
